Emergency Vehicle Operator’s Driver Program

Fleet Safety International and Global Training Centre have partnered to develop this two-day program that combines in-class and hands-on driver training. The Emergency Vehicle Operator’s Driver Program helps drivers develop the key attributes and road skills required to be a safe professional driver.

  • Driving factors such as fatigue, wildlife, and backing
  • Vehicle dynamics
  • Emergency offensive and defensive driving
In practical scenarios participants will be able to demonstrate:
  • Blind spot activity
  • General drive evaluation and coaching
  • Emergency braking
  • Collision avoidance
  • Skid control

Competencies

Objectives for this course are obtained through 100% participation. Therefore, the candidate must be physically and mentally able to perform the tasks. Certification, valid for three years, is issued upon completion of objectives.
